Wake to radio or buzzer with the Philips AJ313017 clock radio. The AJ313017 wakes you gently with increasing volume on either your favorite AM/FM radio station or the alarm beeper. Minimum and maximum alarm volume can also be set to your preferences.

The AJ313017's display features illuminated 0.6-inch digits. The repeat alarm button turns off the alarm for nine minutes, while the 24-hour alarm reset automatically resets the alarm for the same time the following day.

The unit comes with a battery backup option (a required 9-volt battery is not included). Philips offers a one-year parts and labor warranty.

I bought this clock radio from Amazon mainly because of its stylish look. It turns out to be a great choice.

My favorite feature of this clock is the Sleep function, the idea is to press one button and the radio is automatically turned on for an hour. So you can sleep with the music on. If you want to end it, just click on another button. It is so convenient.

The green display is bright and easy to be seen at night. Most clock radios have lousy speakers, not this one. Its sound is clear and full, almost as good as my desktop audio.

Sometimes it's awkward to search for your favorite stations because the tuning, volume, am/fm switch are all on the side, you have to hold the whole clock in one hand and operate using another hand. But once you set up everything, you can just lay back and enjoy the music. It is so much fun!

I've owned a bunch of clock radios in my years and so far, this one is my fav. Big clock, small table-top space. Really cool looking, too!

I have been looking for a clock radio alarm with the ramp up volume for the radio alarm. This writeup indicated it did ramp up the volume, but it only does that for the buzz alarm. However, at least for now, I can put the volume fairly low. I absolutely hate being jarred out of a sound sleep so I like just a low volume that just kind of reaches out and touches you awake. The ramp-up would be ideal so it would gradually wake me, but alas I still haven't found that!
