The minimum and maximum alarm volume can be set to your requirements. In addition, when waking to CD, the silent CD alarm start wakes you to the sound of music instead of to the sound of the CD drive searching for the right track. The track is already preselected and ready to play.
Still need a few extra minutes of sleep before starting your day? Then press the repeat alarm, which switches the alarm off for nine minutes. The 24-hour alarm reset eliminates the need to manually reset the alarm after each use by automatically resetting the alarm function for the same time on the next day.
The weekend sleeper function makes sure that either one or both alarm functions are switched off during the weekends. This clock radio has a self- powered backup. In case of an interruption in power, the clock will hold the current time and the alarm settings for three minutes. With the sleep/slumber feature, you can listen to music while falling asleep without the worry of having to turn off the radio. This feature will play up to 90 minutes of music and automatically shut off.

On The Right Track,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Philips AJ393517 Stereo CD Clock Radio (Electronics)
The weekend sleeper is great! Istead of radio station presets, it has an old fashioned knob-which is a drag. It has enough other buttons though. There are 13 buttons in a half moon shape that are silver and not lit up. It makes it very difficult to hit the right button from your bed, especially when it is dark. The sound is pretty good but it needs to be directed up and out instead of towards the table it sits on. It is on the right track but needs more work.

This alarm clock is the best out there. I have had a Sony Dream Machine for the longest time and I finally coudnt take it anymore, I needed a cd player!!! I am so amazed with the sound, it is just awesome! The alarm is loud enough to wake you, but not annoying. I'm telling you, if you do not buy this alarm clock, you will be sorry!
