Dissapointed!!! No support for CD-Rs,

I guess this is a Philips thing, but in spite of the proclaimed CD-Rewritable compatibility, this boombox does NOT play CD-Rs. I am returning it... I apologize if my other review lead you into buying it, unless you don't mind this "detail".

This was a nice little CD player at first. Fairly inexpensive, small, and kind of cute. I've only had it since September. I haven't dropped it or anything but the CD part stopped working altogether. Supposedly I can't return it anymore so, I don't know what to do with it. I'm really upset, Phillips is usually a VERY good brand.
