The Philips AZ276017 boombox is equipped with a CD player, dual cassette deck, and a digital AM/FM radio. Features include a bass reflex sound system, detachable speakers, six watts output per channel, and dynamic bass boost to give this boombox room-filling sound. It also has a digital up/down volume control.
The CD player offers 20-track programming as well as shuffle and repeat modes. The dual tape deck features CD synchro start recording and full autostop. The digital AM/FM tuner allows for 29 station presets. The Philips AZ276017 includes a six-digit multifunction LCD display. It operates on an AC/DC connection or on six D batteries.

This three-piece boombox from Philips sounds terrific! For the money, it sounds better than any of the other brands at the same price. It doesn't have a lot of watts but it sounds like it does. Great gift idea for a high school grad!

No Power,

I have had this system for a few years now, and it has about 2 Watts of total power. Do not get this stero if you are looking for a high-wattage stero system. It has no bass at all!! But If you are looking for a little wimpy system to listen to country music, then this would be a great product for you.
