I have small ears, and these fit so comfortably.

The adjustment doesn't seem to stay and it always ends up pinching my ear - I can't use these for too long at a time before my ears start to hurt.

I have yet to find any headphones, earbuds, or earclips of any form that work for me like Phillips Adjustable Earclips. My ears are a little small for earbuds, so I often feel pain and irritation when they're in, and at least one if not both sides continue to get pushed out of my ears and fall out, even when I'm sitting or laying down very still.

I'm on my third pair of Phillips Adjustable Earclips. The first two pairs were a slightly different model, but the same make and design. The first pair I was really upset to lose when a friend's car door got slammed on one of the ear pieces. My second pair was with me for over a year before parts of my music (vocals or certain instruments) started fading in their quality or altogether from songs I listened to.

Earclips are the best choice for my ears, but most of them are too tight or the clip is made of a tough plastic that doesn't adjust to my ear. So once I saw and wore these with the adjustable and padded clip I knew these were the only things that would work for me. They look like they'd be heavy, but I often find it comfortable to sit with them on my ears even when my music is off rather than hang them around my neck, and forget about them until someone points them out. I can turn my music up as high as I want, and people tell me they hear no sound leaking. The only bonus would be a volume controller, so people may feel the need for that small push. I highly recommend them to anyone who is sensitive to wearing different headphones, but I think they'd be great for anyone unless you're really partial to earbuds or other.

I belong to the part of the population that CANNOT wear ear buds. We're the minority and it is getting increasingly harder to find outer ear head phones that are not connected to themselves by a headband. I was very pleasantly surprised to stumble across these and besides the fact that they meet all the criteria I was looking for they also have that extra punch of unique that I like. An added bonus is that the foam padding is more durable than ones I've had in the past so I expect these to last awhile.

I got these to replace a similar model that I had used for years before they were finally destroyed. I don't like earbuds because they are uncomfortable for me, but I want something light and portable. To my horror, after wearing these a while, I found they were uncomfortable, pinching my ear, unlike my last pair. But then I noticed that there was a plastic case over the clip that was easy to slide off...and when I did, it was perfect! So if it's too tight for you, pull of the plastic clip cover.

These are my running headphones. Ear buds always fall out of my ears or get yanked out by the cord getting accidently tugged or something, which I got tired of.I've used these for 2-3 years before the cord finally crapped out, but $20 bucks/3 years? I've gotten my money out of them. Now I can snag a new pair for $11 on prime.

Sound quality? Good enough. These aren't studio headphones. I have studio headphones for that.

Pros:
11 bucks (I paid $20 at Target 2-3 years ago)
Don't fall off my ears
Comfortable
seemingly sweat-proof
Sound good
11 bucks

Cons:
Doesn't make me coffee in the morning.

I listen to AM radio at work, 6 days a week, for between 6 to 10 hours per day. I only listen in my left ear as I use it for background noise more than anything else. The only reason I purchased these is because after over two years with another brand the cord is starting to make the sound cut in and out.

I've worn these for one day and can't stand them.

PRO: The sound is fine. It's somewhere between 'adequate' and 'really good'. I have no idea as I listen to AM radio.

CON: As some have mentioned this earclip hurts. The adjustable aspect is a joke. The adjustment is only vertical not horizontal (you can adjust the earphone to sit lower on your ear, you can't adjust the earphone to sit further from the back edge of your ear). These earclips pinch your ear all day.

If you have a skinny ear, or a skinny tall ear, I'm sure these earclips would be perfect. However if you (like I) have anything remotely close to an average size ear save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Another design problem I have with this product is most earclips/headphones enter the radio (or whatever device) with a 90 degree connector. Not these! These are a straight shot in which makes it impossible to keep the small radio upright in my shirt pocket.

Lastly, these are bulky and heavy. It kept catching on my hood whenever I turned my head.

*Edit: After a lot of research I finally found the headphones I had for over two years: Panasonic Slim RP-HS46-K. Unfortunately these are no longer available. ...Kind of. They are sold in Europe under model number RP-HS46E-K. Price to have them shipped stateside? Under $18. :) If you want quality, lightweight, comfortable headphones order the Panasonics, not the painful clunky Philips.

Third pair not because they get damaged or die, but simply because I get tired of having just one pair and having to remember to move it to my laptop bag or my ipod case or wherever else I might want headphones. :)

I will admit - I am not a sound quality connoisseur the way some people are - I have a good ear but I'm just not willing to spend huge amounts of money on something that I am buying to carry around in a bag or pocket all day, and I don't like not being able to hear what's going on around me at all when I'm in public and using headphones, so there are definitely headphones out there that might be technically better, but they're not what I'm shopping for. These sound good enough that it doesn't annoy me that my music sounds 'off', and that's all I'm asking with regards to the audio quality.

Like some of the other reviewers, I hate ear buds. They're horribly uncomfortable in my ears and seem to trigger headaches. Likewise, some of the other over-the-ear styles are very uncomfortable for me because they pinch or grip too hard, or the over-the-ear portion is too bulky which is an issue because I'm often wanting to wear glasses or sunglasses while wearing headphones. These sit nicely and comfortably without getting in the way of glasses, and they don't grip or pinch on the back of my ear so that it hurts.

I also like, and this may be a negative for some people, that they don't grip so well that they can't be tugged off. I don't have a lot of trouble with them falling off, but I do have a large dog who sometimes forgets his own size, and if he catches the cord or a little kid grabs at it, frankly I'd rather have the headphones come off than my ear yanked on. (Similarly when exercising, if it somehow gets caught on something.)

All in all, these are the best non-earbud relatively compact headphone solution I've found, and I will probably cry (and then buy a whole bunch in bulk) if Philips ever discontinues the style.
