The phone is excellent for voice quality, it had a nice long battery life but replacing the batteries with hi-capacity rechargeables make the battery life even longer. Range is excellent. It's small and easy to use but the menus are cryptic. There's a 2.5mm headset jack on the side of the phone and it works great.

An annoyance: When you dial a number, like an extension number after dialing into a company, there's a weird delay about 1/2 sec between the time you press the button and when the tone takes place. Not a deal killer but annoying.

Changing the answering machine message seems impossible, I still haven't figured it out. It should be more intuitive, if you can even do it.

Each phone has it's own directory so if you wanted to store family numbers on the system, you have to program all 4 phones individually.

This is a great family phone but for a business, it's awkward.

After going through 4 separate Philips Models of Cordless Phones that have 3 handsets I found that the CD 4353B/17 Phone works greatly with my Cable Phone Service. After going through 3 separate Models of Philips Cordless Phones I finally have the one that I really enjoy dearly. The CD4353B/17 works great with my Cable Phone Service and I love the features that this Phone has. It is very durable and has more features then I realized but enjoy them dearly. This is one great Cordless Phone and most likely is the very best Cordless Phone on the Market. I am extremely happy with this model and have already recommended it to several friends as the best Phone on the market and that it is a very friendly user phone and has all the features anyone could ever ask for.
