This is an amazing product from Philips..! Really loved it.
Best feature I liked is that you can copy MP3 songs being played to USB by one button.

The Product Model is NOT C-1080p(as described by the seller). It is actually DVP3560/F7 for Worldwide use (110-240V). Actually, there is no C-1080p product model on Philips website too. 1080p is the upscaling capability of product.

For all those who are looking for a worldwide use DVD Player, I would definitely recommend DVP3560/F7. 110-240V can be checked on the back of the dvd player.
The most funniest thing is that brochure (leaflet) for this product on Philips website is NOT UPDATED, it says 120V, 50Hz which is incorrect & misguiding.

Hope you all will enjoy it as I am enjoying.
Happy Playing..!

Sine we have a couple of good region 1 dvd players, I bought this one strictly to watch region 2 dvds, thus saving money on various BBC serials which are, usually, far cheaper on Amazon UK. In fact, just the saving on one series made up for the cost of the player.

The package arrived in fairly good time, and thanks to the HDMI cable (one of the reasons we opted for this player) my husband had it hooked up in minutes. The player itself is small and light weight, however, the picture quality is very good. When it is powered on, it turns the tv on as well... something my much more expensive Panasonic does and which I did not expect this one to do. Now, since both players are hooked up to the television, we simply have to turn on one of them, depending on the region code of the dvd we want to watch.

Perhaps the only complaint I have is the remote. While simple to operate, there seems to quite a delay before the player responds. I have to remember to press and hold for a second or two. However, this is barely a problem. We are enjoying shows that we would otherwise never have bought, and are debating whether we want a second player for our bedroom.

I love this little DVD player. It works fine. It was easy to hook in to our Sony Bravia HDMI port with the nice cord that comes with the player. The Bravia senses the player right when I turn it on, so I don't have to fumble with the TV tuner to get it to recognize the player. That is a little plus.

This is an ok player. Out of the box it seems nice. Upon hooking it up and turning it on, it is easy to set up (simple). I hit the eject disc button on the remote and ERRRGRRREER it is a loud cheap not put together with good motor sound but it opens and closes. So I can live with the noisy tray motor for the price. Next I inserted a disc from Denmark, Klovn the movie I recieved from a freind. Pow it starts right up but you can hear the disc spinning and a slight ticking sound as it is hitting somthing while spinning like the old style early player's (CD/DVD) type did. So I stopped the disc pulled it out and inspected for damage. I could see none on the disc. I am going to keep the player since it does work on my other country disc. I hope it last's.. recomendation: Fill out the Warrenty card. But it will probably cost more to send in to fix if breaks than to just buy a new one for $55.00 bucks.

The sad thing about this product is that there is an error in the product description. The product description claims that it works in all regions which is true. Unfortunately, it also claims that it will work on 110 volt to 240 volt, this is not true.
The back panel clearly states that it is designed to work on 110volt to 117 volts. to get this thing to work without frying it, ones needs to attach a 240 volt to 100 volt step down transformer. Once connected to the correct voltage this DVD layer works beautifully. With the HDMI connection the reproduction is excellent. Played my region 1 dvd discs, my region 2 and my region 4 all with excellent results.
Again, the back panel says this is only suitable for play in USA and Canada. This is not true. The machine packing that this machine came in was sticker tagged suitable for all regions. The only reason I did not give this machine 5 stars is because of the error in the voltage description.

I bought this for my daughter at college who has a bunch of UK dvd's she wants to play. She was all excited to receive this, and when she got it and hooked it up, lo and behold the message that came up said unsupported format! When she looked in the manual it said it only plays dvd's from the US and Canada????
