These recorders are the worst. I've owned mine for about 3 years. And yes, they do make good quality DVDs but it is one of the hardest pieces of equipment I've ever used. And, after 3 years the DVD burner just died. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones because I've heard of this problem happening much sooner for some. And, it's near impossible to find a drive to replace it. Buy this if you want but you'll come to hate it in the end like I did.
