I needed a hand blender to mix powdered drink mixes. After looking online and at stores, this one is the most bang for the buck! It comes with a "beaker" with metric and standard markings and a snap-on cover, a chopper, and a whisk. The chopper has a nonskid base so it won't slide around on the counter. Cleanup is easy, and it also comes with a plastic wall mount bracket.

The only minuses are that it's heavy, but that's due to the heavy-duty motor. Also, the switch is a bit tricky to press, but that is probably a safety feature.

Every maker of hand mixers claims that theirs has "more power" than the competition. It's like some Tim Allen sketch. I bought this mixer to use the whisk attachment to keep sauces moving on the stove top. It is like using a sledgehammer to kill a fly. It feels like an electric drill. This is perfect if you just want to blend the hell out of something for a few seconds. You do not want to hold it in one hand for more than a few minutes, though. You have to dig your thumbnail into a rubber pad to keep it turning and it has a power cord that has been removed from all of the photos. The extra weight of the motor and awkward switch position soon become uncomfortable. I'm docking it a star on account of my sore arm.

A real joy to operate. I docked this a star because it weighs about as much as a battery operated hand drill, and the activation button is a bit of a challenge. Everything else about this, I love. A breeze to use, and a snap to clean, and even easier to operate. Using this handy blender, I feel like there is no food I cannot conquer.
