Less is More,

I replaced my clunky, five speaker home theatre with this. It has worked flawlessly. I have it hooked up to my Sharp Aquos and the quality couldn't be better and it dosent take over my living room. Big equipment is like a big truck. It says there is something lacking in the owner. This is appropriate technology, does what it sets out to do and does it well.

It does the job,

I set this up with a 37" HP LCD 1080 TV two years ago and haven't had a single problem. This small unit can actually overpower my 400 square foot room. As a stereo it has a secondary aux input for my I-pod which I use quite often. My only hang up is I wish it were front loading, but the flip top helps to keep cost low.

Turns off after 15 minutes on pause,

Pure junk. Remote is wonky and not everything works. I'm talking about forward reverse and such. We've had to use our old 642 remote to navigate menus.
The biggest WTF is how it simply turns off after 15 minutes on pause, no resume no nothing. We have to reload the moving suffer though the previews and such and then we have to fast forward using the older philips remote. Total POSH not sure about what happened to Philips formerly good design. |
