Philips Norelco G370 All-In-1 Versatile Grooming System

I wasn't looking for a life-changing personal care appliance; I just wanted a new rechargeable trimmer to replace my dying old one. I stumbled across this gizmo in a store (I won't say where) and saw all the attachments and and the pricepoint and figured I'd give the Norelco name the benefit of the doubt and take a chance on it. I have been quite pleasantly surprised.

Not only do all of the attachments work well, it's more powerful than I expected. My previous trimmer had a wide, blunt tip, and it was hard to see what I was doing in a mirror because the shaver blocked my view. This trimmer's tip is tapered so it's easy to see the point of contact. And the nose hair trimmer is more powerful than my old AA-battery-powered model, so I trashed that one as well, which has simplified my morning routine. Cleanup is also easier, since the attachments can be detached and flushed in the sink.

As for battery life, I followed the directions when doing the initial charge, and I've used the trimmer quite a few times over the past four weeks without having had to recharge yet.

So in conclusion, I recommend this product without reservation! I wouldn't say it's changed my life, but it has simplified my mornings at least.

I bought the G370 for the nose hair trimmer. I hoped it was better than the Panasonic ER411NC which was torture to use. The Norelco has worked great so far. Followed the directions to charge the unit for 10 hours and I have had no problems and no discomfort. Its not pretty but it does the job very well.

Initially I was bummed because the trimmers weren't as fine cutting as the ones I wanted to replace, but then I became impressed with how great this trimmer is. I'm happy with it. Great value for the price

I travel a lot and, not knowing if I could travel with these in my carry on, bought a different model for each destination, really not purchasing carefully, just wanting a trimmer at each place. This one is great! The heads are easier to attach and detach than most, it has nice, numbered positions for the trimmers, but the two things that make this stand out from the other I own are, first, a great battery. I charge it and come back a month later and it's still charged, and seems to hold a charge forever, unlike the competitors. But the BIG difference is it has a unique spring-loaded grooming head that works great for keeping your beard trimmed. I've seen nothing else like it and it really does work great, giving consistent results and rounding your chin and neck perfectly, unlike the conventional "ramps" the others have. I love it.

Bought this several months ago at Walmart I believe and yes, the trimmer works well, but the plastic beard attachments fall apart rather easily. The buttons used to set the hair length broke within a couple of uses rendering them useless. Surprised to see it rated so highly here. I liked the actual trimmer and the trimming attachments, but it is useless as a beard trimmer unless you want it all gone.
