The antenna is well constructed and is simple to set up. It takes only a few minutes to set-up. It doesn't work that well without a converter box. Sometimes even in good weather the signal is weak for a bit. It is a good inexpensive way to watch some TV.

I moved into temporary housing in metropolitan Jacksonville, FL that has an outdoor mounted RadioShack DA-5200 antenna (about $60) which was getting one HD channel. Tried aiming in different directions using TV signal meter. No improvement. After reading reviews suggesting that basic antennae perform well, I purchased this one. After some experiments on adjustments I get 11 HD channels clear and steady.

What can you say about a basic set of rabbit ears? The unit does what it's supposed to do and does it well. It's not ugly, nor is it beautiful. The picture is great for OTA digital broadcasts, but don't expect free DirecTV broadcasts to accidentally bleed through. Buy it already!

How well it works is dependent upon where I sit in my living room. If I had the option to purchase another antenna, I definitely would.

I am in a valley and this simple did nothing. Picked up nothing. Wish I could get my money back.

Just plug it in and use it, I did not have to extend the antennas for it to work well. It didn't have any bad signal so far, I also receive about 60 or so channels. Great price too, although, I do have mixed problems with it, the one in my room works much better than that of my living room, so be wary.

I've had this product for about a year and I'm still not very happy about its performance. No matter how much I try to improve the reception, it still does not stay stable. I usually have to sit in a certain spot to keep the reception up. Another down-side to this product is that it has a different reception level for each channel. For example, if one of the channels has a reception level of 35, then another channel may a reception level of only 12. Sometimes a channel may be working perfectly fine, and all of a sudden it freezes and doesn't work, even in perfect weather conditions. I find this product extemely difficult to deal with and would never recommend it to anyone.

I don't do cable. I rely on Over-the-Air (OTA) channels to view TV. This antenna is great with the HDTV AND the old TVs with Digital Converter Boxes. The kids stream Netflix via X-Box on one TV and I happily watch PBS on the other one; all is well. This antenna is plain, sleek and fits our HDTV aesthetics better than the more expensive RCA antenna it replaces.

The antenna picks up the 30+ OTA local stations available in our area. This compares favorably well with a more expensive RCA antenna on a lesser used TV in another part of our home. By no means is this a replacement for good old cable. If that's your predilection you still need to sign up with your local cable or satellite company.

Obviously this isn't going to be the most powerful antenna out there. But they could at least have made the coax cable connector a little better. During hook up the threaded section separated from the main body of the cable. The connection hasn't been secure since.

I bought a new one but they sent me a used one with damaged box. Too tired to return. But it does the job.
