Good for Iphone and Small Ears! Love it!,

I love this Item! I bought it and it was wonderful. I have a major problem with the star wars looking headsets because I have very small ears. Plus those head sets look like star wars accessories or something. This one is cool because I wear one earbud and I can clip it on my shirt or seatbelt while driving. The sound quality if is teh best. I have tried various other bluetooth headsets and the sound quality was terrible but this is awesome and works wonderful with my iphone. I can play the radio in my car and talk on the phone with this headset and not have to worry about the distortion. I recommend this product 100%! The price is right! I love it. In fact, I went back to buy another for a friend and the store was out so I am online trying to order another one right now.

I love the idea of this. Just an earbud in the ear, not a bulky Star Trek device. And that works great, but the Mic only work well when it doesn't rub on anything (clothing, jacket, wind, etc). A noisy car causes sound problems for the people you are talking to (sound cuts out for them as it tries to cancel the noise?). If you position the mic so it just is in the air, and tuck the small unit in a shirt pocket or clip it on something, this works very well.
People sometimes wonder why I have a wire going into my shirt pocket, but its better than the wire going all the way to the phone headset jack, and getting caught on everything. Battery life is good. I just wish the mic worked better.

A "Practical" Bluetooth - Nothing flashy...all business,

I've been using this product for about 3 months and picked it up at a deep discounter for $9.99. This is the most practical bluetooth I've seen. I've never bought one before because people who wear the gaudy techy ones look like idiots. However, this model is barely noticable when you're wearing it. The sound quality is great; however, I do have people ask me to speak up or they say they can't hear me and I have to move the microphone around so they can hear me better. It's a good product I just wish the microphone was a little better.

The product arrived with a dead Battery. Even hours of charging does not work on the Bluetooth headset.
Real disappointment

This is a pretty good blue tooth product. Unlike other BT products, you don't have a Star-Trek device hanging out of your ear. Simply a single wire with an inline pickup mike. Now about the product. Strange thing about it is, if you use immediately after charging it, the sound quality has interference and "white noise". After using it for a few minutes the noise goes away. Also the device seems to go into sleep mode from time to time and will disconnect itself from the cell phone. BUT when it works it works well and it is small enough to fit into a shirt pocket. I never use the neck cord, seems too odd to have a cord around your neck with a wire that runs to your ear. For the price it is a good device and probably should be standard equipment for anyone who tends to use their cell phone while driving. It is a pretty good hands free device and if your cell has voice command, it works good. Because of the low price and the operating features, I would recommend the Philips SHB1300-27 BT Mono Headset.

Just as a reminder: this headset does not work with my Sony VAIO SZ370P or Z790 series notebooks. Although it appears to be paired successfully, I cannot hear the audio.
Works with Nokia E71 phone and performs OK. Short cable is an issue when used with the phone. A chest pocket may be the only place to hold the transmitter. |
