These headphones have really great sound! As good as our adult headphones. Also, I really love the feature that allows me to 'lock' the maximum volume level. My son is 5 and loves being able to listen to his own music like a grown-up. And I feel better knowing his hearing isn't being damaged :) The headphones are adjustable and seem to sit just fine on his head. We haven't had a problem with them falling off.

I bought these for my 5-year-old and we've been very satisfied with them. They adjust to fit his head and the ears are comfortable. I compared several brands and finally settled on this one. There have been no problems with these after a number of months, I'd definitely recommend them.

My daughter loves these. We wanted them in pink but it unavailable. They work great.

Well, here I am buying a 2nd pair, so I guess these are a good purchase. My son likes to use these when he listens to music downloaded onto his Nintendo Dsi. We have had no issue with them for the past 2 months - until tonight. He tripped while getting up from the floor and somehow yanked the wire leading from the headphones right out of the little plastic connector that joins the 2 wires. He was a bawling mess, and I promised to get him a new pair. My 9 year-old daughter has these in pink for her ipod (she hates how earbuds feel), and she has had no issue with hers. I didn't witness the "incident", so I have no idea how hard my son yanked or whether these broke unusually easily or not.

The package lists these headphones for ages 6 and up; which I agree with. They would probably be too big for a child younger than 6. I bought these for my 6-year-old who just received a mp3 player and has an issue with turning the volume up too high. Follow the directions in the package, and you will no longer have a problem with your child blasting the music too loud. And unless they are handy with a screwdriver, you won't have to worry about them changing your settings. These were extremely easy to set up and work like a charm.
Bottom line, I would recommend these to any parent with a child age 6 or older who needs good quality headphones!

Bought these for my son (blue) and Sony product for my daughter (pink). The Sony product did not produce a sound level sufficient for ANY of us (children with sensitive hearing or old adults with faded hearing) to hear. I wish Philips had a pink product; or any other color for that matter, to help distinguish which one belongs to which child. But my daughter will be able to hear, which is the most important thing with headphones.

I picked these up at a store and took them back a couple of days later. They wouldn't stay on my 4 year old daughters head, they kept falling forward when she would move around. Not worth it for us so I took them back to the store for a refund.
