I have owned numerous cams over the years and have not found a single one that is good. Its either driver problems, poor software or non-support of your equipment. All the cam's suffered from poor video quality (choppy an low resolution). I assume if you want a good cam you will have to pay about $200-$300. Here we are in 2011 and I have yet to see a reasonably priced good cam. The software included with this is terrible on Windows 7. It allows you no way we could find of just having a video picture on your screen with out the large window. Because of the stiff cable it will put serious stress on your usb port. I would run this with a usb extender cable to alleviate stress to your usb. This originally sold for about $30, yuk.

I was looking for a web cam easy to use and this is just the perfect product for me, it does not require additional cables or even software installation and works great with Skype, the reason why I needed a web cam. The video quality is not that good and the cable is not that easy to manipulate but in general I am happy with the product.

The webcam is good in terms of price versus performance. It's easy to use, and the picture is OK.
