Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Philips SPP1591WA Squid Surge Protector with 5 Flexible Outlets (Electronics)
I bought 5 of these about 2 months ago and we have them all in use. I now wished I had bought the black ones because the white ones really stand out in some areas that we use them in... and the black ones that I just ordered have a longer main cord (4ft) on them which I know will be handier, and I paid $5 more per unit to get that and the noise reduction feature in the black ones. I need just a couple for that feature because a tv in the other room has always had interference from something (we can't figure out what) and I'm hoping this will help with that. These are handy units. And it's nice that you can attach them to a wall too. And no more cramped surge strips with odd fitting devices plugged in that take up enough space and crowds out a neighboring plug that could be used for something else. We really like these and I'm glad we found them.

Cute and effective,

These squid-type power strips are great because they allow you to plug in big AC adapters without losing any of the plugs. I purchased the Phillips model several months ago, and so far it has functioned properly. This white surge protector is attractive enough that you don't have to hide it.

Warranty Scam - They Claim it has no warranty - While it's stated on the package "Limited Lifetime Warranty",

Stay away from Philips Products like a plague. The packaging and the warranty card clearly states "Limited Lifetime Warranty" on the item, but the supervisor (First Name: Vaegas) says it's only valid if it's not working when you bring it out of the box (isn't that what the 30 day store/online return policy is for), but if you use it, the warranty is no longer valid... I'm not sure what these people are on, but that is not what Limited Lifetime Warranty means. I'm just glad; I did not purchase something really expensive, like a TV to find this out.Terrible Customer service. Shame on you Philips.
