Got this about two weeks ago, works great. I love it because it's just like my old one and has the sleep timer on it. I did not have any problem programming it.

purchased this for a spare tv that a remote was broke. important feature was the remote having an input button for tv/vcr/dvd etc. this had it worked and i'm happy.

I've had this remote for a while now and I have had no issues. I lost my original RCA remote a long time ago so I wanted to something relatively cheap but well built to replace it. This has held up against a bunch of drops from my bed and has yet to get a scratch. I am also surprised at how compatible it is with all of the devices I have tried to use it with. Even devices that were not listed in the manual work well. I am actually using the VCR button to control a video switch! Sure, I had to figure out what buttons did what for that specific device, but once you know it's not an issue.

The buttons on this remote are all rubber. They are easy to read and easy to push. The remote takes 2 AAA batteries and I can honestly not remember the last time I had to change them. Setup is easy if you follow the instructions, no more or less complicated than any other universal remote.

If I had one improvement to make, it would be light up buttons so you can see it in the dark. To be honest though, after a while of use you remember where every button is and don't really need to see the remote anymore to use its functions.

Remote works very well. Setup is easy and quick. Only negative I have is location of vcr/dvd buttons at the very bottom of remote is kind of awkward. But that is a minor problem.
