This is exactly what I needed to keep my three game consoles connected to the TV set.

I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working when I finished setting it up. There are no instructions, btw. Well, turns out that both the source signal and the output signal needs to match. This means no composite input with s-video output. It has to be composite > composite or s-video > s-video.

All in all, I no longer have to go behind the TV, unplug then plug in the new cable. I just merely push the button for the right input on the front of the device, and away I go.

I purchased this for my motorhome to select the input to my tv from either the digital tv antenna converter box, or the satellite antenna box, or the dvd player. I used the S-Video inputs/output and it works well. (Remember - you must use either the S-Video or Composite Video for all components. You cannot mix and match them, because the box will not convert one type to the other.) The installation is not very tidy since one set of input cables are on the front panel beside the push buttons. There are no mounting provisions on the box so I used adhesive Velcro(r) tape to mount it in a cabinet.

THEN ON THE FRONT (WHICH THE PICTURE SHOWS) ARE THE 3 BUTTONS TO SWITCH AND THE 3RD INPUT.

I don't know why it was set up this way, but if you care about the direction of the wires, be aware as you see the picture, one of the the inputs are on the front side to the right of the buttons.

GREAT PRODUCT AND HAS WORKED FINE FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW.

This product really just seems to be a little plastic box that is probably full of wiring so it's really light and doesn't take up too much room. It works great, and is really handy for when you have a DVD player and game systems and whatever else but don't want to constantly be messing with plugs. There are two inputs and one output on the back, one input on the front. The three buttons on the front switch between the different inputs.

I've had one of these for four years now and it still works the same as it always has so I bought another one and gave it to my parents when they updated their entertainment system.

Allows you to switch between 3 devices when your tv doesn't have a lot of rca inputs. Plug them in and select your device. Just that simple.

This thing is way cheap, but it works. I would rather buy a cheap one, that I have to get up and switch, than to buy one that cost more with a remote. I have to many remotes around anyways. I like to play Xbox online, but my wife does not like to hear all the noise from COD, so I got wireless head phones at ROSS and I plug the wireless receiver into the switch box. I use it mostly for the audio inputs. I plug the video in the back of my tv and the audio cables into the switch box. Then I plug the switch box into my surround sound system. It works pretty good.

This item has saved me time money, and a headache ((((this wide)))) and now I am happy with the decision I've made purchasing the 3-way Av selector. I now enjoy my entertainment system at a level of "mint condition," which does delivers better sound, video, and audio for a more enhanced entertainment experience.

You can use it for AV and it does a great job but I just use it to switch sound source on my old stereo between my ps3, PC and Sat TV sound output. It a great Low Tech solution for sound management if you want to use your wide screen computer monitor for everything like I do.

No frills, inexpensive, "gets the job done" A/V switch. The construction is a little flimsy but you get what you pay for. I would happily buy this switch again as it definitely fulfills it's purpose.
