Angled Neck and Contoured Bristles for Comfortable Use

With an angled neck and contoured bristles that correspond to the natural shape of your teeth, the e-Series Standard toothbrush heads deliver a thorough, comfortable brushing experience. The angled neck provides optimal reach for the bristles, which have soft rounded ends that gently massage your gums and go deep between teeth to remove plaque.

Replace Every Three Months

You can't see it, but your brush head wears over time. Blue reminder bristles fade in color to let you know when it's time to replace the brush head. Dental professionals recommend replacing your brush head every three months. Sonicare technology helps you remove up to two times more plaque compared to a manual toothbrush.

Brush Heads Screw On for Easy Replacement and Cleaning

Thanks to the brush head's screw-on design, they can be easily removed for cleaning and replacement. The heads come with caps for hygienic storage and travel.

There really isn't much to say about Sonicare Brushes: once you've tried them (for us, it's been over 10 years), you'll never go back to a regular toothbrush or anything but Sonicare. Well some of you might, but I need MY teeth to last a long, long time, and these brushes massage the gums without bruising.

I, too, am pleased that Sonicare changed the packaging. The old pack of two came in plastic that needed special tools to open. Now, they come in the shown box, and just pop out. No muss, no fuss.

Note: To those of you who "subscribed" to get two brushes every 6 months and haven't received any lately, the old packaging has been discontinued and, evidently, the brush model as well. These are identical to the old brushes, but you might have to re-subscribe.

I LOVE my Sonicare - nothing compares to how clean my teeth feel after every brushing other than the dentist. I highly recommend one to everyone I know. It was the best money I've spent in a long time. My mouth feels cleaner, longer. My teeth have since whitened... But on to the review of this product:

I originally had purchased the sonicare replacement brush heads, but I felt they were pretty pricey, so I purchased some Wal-Mart special replacement heads. Worst idea EVER. The wal-mart special replacements are loud, not even close to the same quality, and I'm pretty sure I would get the same clean from just using it manually. I am not even ready to replace my wal-mart heads, and have already bought these, which compared to local prices, is much gentler on the wallet!

Conclusion: Buy the real thing, spend the money on the sonicare heads, unless you want to hate your brush. It's not worth the savings, from Wal-mart or wherever, because you'll just be here, buying the real thing.

These are cheapest here and at Costco, but at Costco you have to buy like 1,928 of them at once, and I just don't have that many teeth.

Thank you Sonic Care, for using better packaging.... is it made from recycled materials? That would be super excellent. Also, we love the subscription option. Very, very convenient and has always worked well for us.

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that I've had my Sonicare model HX5300 for about three years, and this is the first time that I've replaced the brush head. But as durable as it was, the original brush head was clearly worn out, so I ordered the 2-pack replacement set. For me, there's no question that the Sonicare brushes are more effective than manual toothbrushes. At my age, gum disease is a bigger problem than cavities, but since I changed to the Sonicare, my dental hygienist has given me much better reports on my gums, with the "pockets" being much smaller than before.

I noticed a huge difference after replacing the old brush head. It wasn't just the bristles that were frayed and worn out. The rubber "bumpers" that transmit the vibrations from the main body of the brush were also worn out. When I brushed my teeth with the new brush head, the brushing action was much more vigorous. For the first time in at least a year, my gums tingled the way they did when I first got the Sonicare. The manufacturer recommends replacing the brush head every three months. That may be a bit of overkill intended to sell brush heads, but I realize now that they do need to be replaced much more often than every three years.

Before changing to the Sonicare, I had used another brand of battery-operated brush found in drugstores. They were very inexpensive, but they didn't help my gums enough to keep them from deteriorating. Using the Sonicare has helped greatly to reverse the gum disease.

The fact that I used the original brush head for three years is testimony to the durability of the brush, but I recommend replacing the brush heads much more frequently than that.

I've used Sonicare toothbrushes for more than ten years, and I've gone through a couple of different models on the way. My son uses the newest generation that take the smaller, less pricy heads, but my wife and I still have life in our old ones so haven't yet switched.

Being a cheap SOB, I love my Sonicare but hate the cost of replacing the heads every 3 months or even 6 months, so I thought I would try the generics that you can now find. BIG MISTAKE.

Generics don;'t seem to screw on as easily, are REALLY loud when the toothbrush is in use, and have bristles that feels like they could cut diamonds. So back to the original. It is quiet, soft and dependable. Some things are worth paying more for, and these are now on Subscribe and Save.

I do not like these new brushes at all! They are too soft and don't clean the teeth like the old ones did! Will not buy these again.I've used a Sonicare as long as it has been on the market,,,,,sad to see such a poor product!

Usually these brush heads has soft bristles, but this time around it has a harder feel when brushing. Still ok though, would wait for my next subscription to see if this is a one-off or the quality has now become inconsistent.
