This phone has a convenient way of storing the USB wire that plugs into the computer. You wrap it around the phone and it hides itself by stretching and snapping into the back of the unit.

The problem is that after a few days of mobility, the thin wires inside the USB must have stretch and broken and rendered the microphone portion useless.

If you're going to be constantly mobile with the phone, it will break. If it remains stationary - it offers great sound quality and is a good value.

This phone would not work. Called tech support and was told I had to uninstall my Skpe and install version that came with phone. I explained that was an old version and I wanted to use features on new version and wanted to continue to update Skpe as newer versions became availabel. They said NOT WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT!

i had a little trouble in the first couple of weeks because if you don't follow installation instructions carefully, it will override your computer audio systems.

i wrote the supplier about it and they were very nice and apologetic and they asked me to ship back the unit and they would give me a refund. but by then i had uninstalled the driver and put it back in properly and it was all systems working perfectly.

this is a good product. this is a great product. i very highly recommend it.

I bought this thinking it would be a cheapy phone to play with (I didn't expect much)... but I had no idea how cheap it would feel.

The usb cord is stiff enough to prevent the phone from sitting correctly in the cradle... that is how light the phone is...

It feel very much like a cheap toy from one of those places where the toys are purchased for 99 cents.

If you want a cheap skype phone this is it...

But in retrospect I would have forked out a bit more to get a better quality product.

This is the most economical way to use Skype. It is clear on both ends, yours and the person you are talking to. It works well with your webcam. I have had no problem with it. My wife who is not geeky at all has no problem using it. I had first though that I would get earphones/mike but I don't need them with the Phillips USP phone.

This Skype approved phone is a winner. It's easy to install and the sound quality is much better than I thought.

I received the phone and was able to hear others speaking, but they were not able to hear me. The microphone was broken and it had never even been used.
