Steve Pyke is a professional photographer who, years ago, created a book of photographs of contemporary philosophers. Decades later he does it again. THe book begins with a brief interview of Pyke. (It was boring.) The photos are black & white headshots, 225 pages, with a short 50-word max blurb about the philosopher by the philosopher. Nothing spectacular, but you do see that people in the field of philosophy are very white, very old, at best plain if not outright hideous, and very boring. Talk about an image problem. 3 stars since I was curious, but, if you die, never having flipped through this, don't worry. Did I mention that I found it very boring?
