5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Textbook!, November 27, 2010

This has got to be one of the best philosophy textbooks out there today. It presents the material in a clear and organized fashion. The issues explored are well balanced as far as providing arguments on both sides. It is rare to find an unbiased philosophical book but this one is very close to achieving that and the reader is free to choose without subtle persuasion.

This book did a lot for my philosophical introduction. I would recommend this to professors and students alike. Thought experiments and thinking suggestions help to teach through activity. Great experience from the read.
