5.0 out of 5 stars A fifteen year old girl becomes a "Sadist"., September 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Philosophy in the Bedroom (Paperback)
Eugénie de Mistival, a fifteen year old girl, gets "educated" by the two Libertins Dolmancé and Mme de Saint-Ange. They are prototypes of the philosophy of Marquis de Sade. Eugéne becomes a sadistic beast whom even watches the rape of her mother happily.- This is how you can describe shortly "The Philosophy In The Bedroom". It's is one of the funniest (really!) novels by De Sade and contains an attempt to the French Democrats and Republicans, which demands total individual freedom to everybody. Don't take this book TOO seriously!
