5.0 out of 5 stars HOPE SPRINGS..........FROM PHILOSOPHY
This is a very fine high density cream intended for use on the eye area and lips. It softens those "happy" lines around the eyes and does the same for any creases that are beginning to appear around lip area.

It contains plant extracts and Vitamins C and E to aid in revitalization of dry or aging skin.

1.0 out of 5 stars This Product Has Formaldehyde and Stings My Eyes!
Like the Hope in a Jar by philosophy, this product has diazolidinyl urea, a formaldehyde releaser (You can look it up on Wikipedia). It's towards the end of the ingredients list, so there's not a lot of it, but still, I do not want to have formaldehyde (It's a fixative. You can also look it up on Wikipedia) any where near my face, especially around my eyes where my skin...

A reasonable price for a lot of protection!

5.0 out of 5 stars very substantial, very softening, I like it!, July 9, 2006
This review is from: Philosophy Hope in a Tube Eye And Lip Contour Cream Tube (Misc.)
This cream comes in a small tube. It comes out very thick and feels very thick going on. It does look a little shiney for a minute, until it incorporates into the skin, but you only need to use a little, and soon it blends right in. In my 40s, I am starting to notice the skin around the outside corner of my eyes is looking different, so I am being diligent about applying this product. I have to say I notice a big difference. It immediately softens the funny looking skin by my eyes so it matches the rest of my face, and since it is a Philosophy product, I know it is doing more than just offering a cosmetic improvement. If I skip it or run out, the improvement stays. I don't have any lines around my lips (yet), but I am using the product religiously as preventative maintenance there, and have been for quite a while, so maybe that's why that area still looks good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff!, September 29, 2006

I use this every morning and night, and it is amazing stuff.

For my lips, I had just been using it for a few days when someone at work asked if I had lipstick on. I didn't, I don't ever wear lipstick. They thought my lips looked that good!

As for my eyes, ever since I started using it, I no longer have crepey eyelids. I am getting close to 40, my skin doesn't have quite the elasticity it did in my younger days. Philosophy products have changed my skin for the better, it looks and feels like it hasn't in years.

Buy this. You will not regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works!, April 9, 2006
This review is from: Philosophy Hope in a Tube Eye And Lip Contour Cream Tube (Misc.)
I have started to use this product for my eye area along with others as part of a regimen to improve prematurely aging, sun damaged skin on my face. After a few weeks, I saw that lines have visibly diminished around my eyes. I use it twice a day with an antioxidant serum under sunscreen. It doesn't get rid of blueish baggy undereyes though so you will need other treatments. This firming cream is not greasy.

I used to work for Lancome and Estee Lauder. I've tried virtually every product out there and nothing had any effect whatsoever on the crepy-baggy undereye area. I'm 41 and it is just in the last year that my undereye area has been a true concern. I got a sample of HIAT from somewhere? and HOLY COW!! Seriously, it INSTANTLY takes YEARS off your eyes. I don't even use concealer anymore (which I think makes you look older anyway)...People complain about the expense but even the eye creams that you buy at Walgreens are like twenty bucks so for ten dollars more to have something that makes my eyes look 30 again??? Priceless.

Before I had started paying attention to ingredients in general, I had tried using this cream because I had gotten it as a gift. Within 5 minutes after applying, my eyes would start watering so much that I'd have to wash this off. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

This product is very good at hydrating the tissue around your eyes. I noticed a change within a few days with diminishing fine lines and better firmness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hope in a Tube, February 24, 2006

Fantabulous!!!.Love it Love it Love it! I had to have some botox treatments recently for some severe migraines I was experiencing and the botox eventually traveled from my forhead to my upper eyelid making it sag quite a bit. I was horrified to say the least, so I ordered the Hope in a Tube Eye and Lip Cream hoping it would at least tighten the skin up a little and it really helped quite a bit. I'm also using the Hope in a bottle and Purity Facial Cleanser. I've been on the regime for about two weeks now and I'm already seeing a world of difference, what's more is my husband has noticed too! I'll be purchasing more of the Hope line....but definately!

5.0 out of 5 stars High Density eye and lip cream delivers as promised!, January 1, 2006

Philosophy once again gives us a product that lives up to its name. This eye and lip cream works well providing protection and moisture to the delicate eye area and lips.
When mixed with a highly pigmented concealer, like the Supernaturals Air Brushed Color Correctors, there is an instant lift and brightening of your eyes. Takes a few years off, in my opinion.
Hope in a Tube Eye and lip cream helps to smooth out and decrease the appearence of smile lines/crows feet. It works for me in the dry, windy and cold New Mexico mountain region. Since finding this product, there hasn't been a single eye/lip cream I can compare it to. Highly recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Add this to my list of Philosophy products that I LOVE !!, December 25, 2005
This review is from: Philosophy Hope in a Tube Eye And Lip Contour Cream Tube (Misc.)
I'm typing the same review for all of the philosophy products I own since I don't know what is doing it so I'm assuming its all of them..... BUT my skin looks and feels ** FABULOUS ** I have a tendancy to pick at any small thing on my face, which I hate b/c you know you shouldn't do that. Anyway, I haven't had anything to pick at. This relationship is working out well. PLUS, "Falling in Love" and "Amazing Grace" fragrances that they sell, smell AWESOME, LOVE THEM and of course, RECOMMEND THEM !!
