More About the Author

Dharmbir Rai Sharma is a retired professor with physics and electrical engineering background. He was born and grew up in India. He got his Master's degree in physics (wireless) from Banaras Hindu University after which he worked in the Indian Meteorological Service for ten years. He then came to USA and did his PhD in electrical engineering at Cornell University. He has taught in universities in USA and also in Brazil where he spent couple of years. In the last ten years of his working life he worked for the U S Army Research and Engineering Development Center in St. Louis. During this period he also taught at University of Missouri as an adjunct professor.

He took to creative writing after his retirement in 1994. His first book was a novel 'What Dies Is Not Me' published by a division of Motilal Banarasidas, New Delhi in 1998. It is the life story of two boys with vastly different backgrounds who meet in the first year of college and become life-long friends. It is based in India, England, Russia, and USA, It is also a reincarnation story. After that his interest shifted to the interaction of science and philosophy and he mostly wrote articles and ebooks on his website. His other published book is 'Philosophy and Science of Hindu rituals and Mythology'(Sundeep Prakashan, New Delhi 2006). Now he is mostly writing ebooks for Kindle.
