Okay, after reading the comment from a sugar lover that this was too sweet, I was worried; but, to me this is WONDERFUL! If you like coconut, this is awesome. To me it smells like a freshly baked white cake with the coconut frosting. It's similar to the coconut milk flavor but sweeter...just like a coconut cake. I just love it. NOTE: As with the Cinnamon Buns, please note that you won't get Coconut Cream Pie as the picture shows. When you click on the item to order, it comes up as Coconut Frosting, which is what you will receive. One of my new favorites!

Let me start by saying that the product works as well as Philosophy's other products. However, I have nearly all of the Philosophy 3-in-1's and I keep hoping that they will get a "vanilla" one right. This "flavor" is even worse than their "Vanilla Ice Cream" in the sense that it barely has a fragrance at all. Whereas "Vanilla Ice Cream" smells (strongly) like the plastic used in shower curtains, this one smells pretty much like the base used in all of Philosophy's 3-in-1's. I certainly do not detect a bit of the "Vanilla Cupcake" fragrance they claim the product should have. What I do detect as a slight fragrance vanishes immediately after the product leaves the bottle. I must say that I am not impressed with Philosophy's new 3-in-1's at this point. The "Vanilla Cupcake" stinks and the "Mimosa" smells like Pina Colada to me. If you want a good Philosophy 3-in-1, get the "Cinnamon Buns", "Pumpkin Pie", "Eggnog", "Spiced Apple Cider", or "Double Rich Hot Cocoa" variations. And always remember that if you use these products as a shampoo, you will need to use a good conditioner afterwards.

Not only does this gel smell terrific, like real raspberry sorbet, it is functional as well. This lathers up nice and you don't have to use a lot of product. You use it as a body wash, a shampoo and a conditioner and I suppose for a bubble bath too. So that makes it four in one. I take this on trips because its easy to grab and put in my overnight bag and I can take less product with me. I also will use this when I'm running late and have to take a quick shower. This also comes in many other yummy scents. Try them and you will not be disappointed.

I pulled the lid of the Philosphy Vanilla Birthday Cake bottle and inhaled the wonderful smell of vanilla birthday cake. It smells 100% like its glorious namesake. While some people complain about feeling strange bathing in birthday cake or a strawberry milkshake, I think of it as being just another type of aromatherapy. Cake makes me happy, birthdays make me happy, this birthday cake smelling body wash and shampoo really makes me happy!
Plus as a bodywash and shampoo it functions very well. My skin feels smooth, and my hair feels light, silky and not weighed down. My hair still smells a little like birthday cake, which isn't as good the second day, but it's not overpowering. I don't think I will use this as my everyday shampoo, but it is great to throw in a gym bag for a quick after-workout shower.

This product is absolutely LUSCIOUS!!! It smells wonderfully like lime and, well, just like a marguerita! The fragrance is really refreshing, and it certainly does make my skin feel soft and hydrated. I love it as shampoo, and do not need an additional conditioner. Kudos to philosophy for yet another lovely, luxurious bath experience!

I love scented body washes and lotions such as Cucumber Melon, Peach, Sweet Pea etc..., so I decided to try something a little out of the ordinary and purchased Philosophy's Vanilla Birthday Cake. After I made the purchase, I thought for sure that it was a mistake and would end up sending it back for a refund. To my surprise, I was very impressed. The scent is not overwhelming and if you can't eat, why not wear it. I'm excited to try other scents from this collection.

I've been a long time fan of Philosophy fragrances, particularly 'Amazing Grace,' and 'Pure Grace.' However, this is my first experience experimenting with the shampoo, gel, bubble bath line. I opted for the 'Cinnamon Bun' fragrance based on reviewer popularity.
I couldn't wait for the first shower. I had high anticipation that I would experience an olfactory delight --- that of walking into a bakery where 'Cinnabon' rolls were just being removed from the oven. Was that my experience? Well, not exactly. Yes, there is a cinnamon fragrance, but it is rather artificial with plasticky undertones. That said, it was still nice. But, as soon as the shower was over, the scent in my bathroom and, on my body, dissipated, almost immediately. This has been an ongoing complaint of many Philosophy products, including the fragrances that require frequent reapplication. I'm not sure why this can't be rectified. I have used cheap, grocery store shower gels, that perfumed half my house and I could still smell the scent on my skin the next morning. What gives?
Although somewhat disappointed with the fragrance, I was pleased with how soft the product left my skin. I actually forgot to apply body lotion, after the first use, which is always a post shower ritual for me. I can see this product assisting with winter dry skin issues, so I think I will keep some handy, for that reason, alone. I do think I will try a couple of the other fragrances, too. Oddly, my hubby seemed to like this one more than me, so it's not a very feminine fragrance. It's one that can be shared with the entire family.

This is the first of the philosophy bath products I have tried. I wanted to use it mostly as a bubble bath. For the money, I am somewhat disappointed. The smell and bubbles were fine, but I expected more of a realistic strawberry smell for this much money. The smell had a slightly chemical/ plasticy element to it (like most fake fruit products smell). As a shampoo, it seemed fine, but nothing amazing for the money. As a shower gel, it again did the job, but I did not notice a particular difference in my skin from my normal moisturizing soap. Both as a gel and in the bath, the smell filled the bathroom. But, I did not notice it long afterwards either in the room or on my skin. All in all, an OK product, I guess I just expected more.

I had to add my two cents. This product was offered at a home we rented in Hawaii and was the "icing on the cake" of this tropical paradise. I had to have some for home! It smells divine and works beautifully!

I love these products...for what it is, I use it as a shower gel and the lather is great, doesn't dry me out. But I was excited for a Vanilla Cupcake sented experience... I was dissapointed. I would recommend the other products, the fruity ones, ice cream ones, Key Lime pie for sure..I would not buy this again for the smell.
