For me this book is useful!,

This review is from: Philosophy and Fun of Algebra (Paperback)
Although this book seemed to be written for pupils, I do get some insight from it, even I took some notes on my laptop.
I am particularly impressed by the statements on how we, humans, misuse our imaginations, In this context, this book is teaching us how to work based on purely facts rather than imaginations.

History or Math,
By Sister Zelda (Chicago IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Philosophy & fun of algebra. (Paperback)
In my later years, I do not use much of the algebra I studied in my middle years. This text gives a feel for education at the turn of the last century, where those who could afford such lessons were taught to quantify their unknown data and build more known data. For the author the algebraic method is the model for interpreting life.
