3.0 out of 5 stars Doubt Me Now? Yes I Do
This album never lived up to the hype. It was just ok no where near Doubt Me Now. I didn't expect him to drop another classic but I thought he was gonna come out with a good album. This cd is not original at all he even uses a part 2 of a couple of his songs from his 1st album. And when he dropped this album I was like damn I think this is kinda what we can expect from...

4.0 out of 5 stars Give It a Chance, March 7, 2005

This is a good CD out of the Hynotized Camp. He may be the best pure rapper out of that camp since Skinny Pimp. The beats are, of cource, hard as ever. But many people won't give it a listen simply because they automatically think of the other guy. But if you like 3-6, you will like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lil Wyte, Still Bumpin, Better than the 1st Album, December 12, 2004
I'm tired of people reviewing cds and not listening to it all. Every song on this album is bumpin with bass. The lyrics are simply put TIGHT. New King of the South??

5.0 out of 5 stars Lil Wyte doing all the right things.., November 11, 2004
This album brings a new flavor to the Hypnotize Mind label. His music is as crunk as it gets..no question. If it is as good as his other album, I can't really say..it is just a different sound, which in my opinion is good. I think this album is the best rap album I have heard so far this year. I like all rap, but if you want to get crunk, give this a definite listen. Lil Wyte is definitely going places.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant Suprise, September 10, 2005
Yo I give this a 5...I had never listened to any lil wyte before this album...I got it and I had it on shuffle and I'm not sure which tracks they were...but they had that three-6 flow, where it's just repeating the chorus over and over which annoys me a little so I didn't think this album was gonna be good. I listened to it more and man I was blown away...this album is definately up there on my fav. list the 1 track that really stands out to me is "Bay Area" even if you ain't much of a three-6 fan like myself, you'll love this album...

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This cd is not original at all he even uses a part 2 of a couple of his songs from his 1st album. And if u don't believe me compare the cd's he's had since Doubt Me Now and you'll see that I'm right.

4.0 out of 5 stars A pretty decent album if you like the Memphis style, June 3, 2009
This review is from: Phinally Phamous (W/Dvd) (Clean) (Audio CD)
I'm just a casual listener of music so I'm not going to write some kind of pretentious critical review, but I will say that if you like the typical 3-6 Mafia style of rap then you will like this CD. At this point it's about 5 years old, but for better or worse it sounds like they could have released it last week. Most of the songs have decent beats and are listenable, but 'I sho will' is probably the best track, at least in my opinion. Pretty sure Amazon has track samples so check it out. Anyway, this is a solid release and I'm hoping the next one due out soon is at least as good. Nice to see more rappers repping the TN.

5.0 out of 5 stars STATIC ADDICT!, May 1, 2007
By
ADHD (Cincinnati, OHIO) - See all my reviews
Well...with Wytes' newest album dropping on June 6th 07", i thought i would revisit his last album and give my 2 cents worth. Let me just get some bias out of the way, i like Three 6 mafia, and Hypnotize camp posse. I like what they bring to hip hops' table. And what an OVERCROWDED table it is, with so many fakes and fronts in the world, its great to see someone like Lil wyte emerging with a dang good fan base being independent and then getting signed with people like Juicy and Paul. A white boy none the less. Lil wyte...Without further to do, He graces the mic, on just about every verse you can see some thought went into the selection. HE is one of those "up-and comings'", you cant sleep on lil wyte. This album is one heck of a ride, and will not disappoint. Pick this and the new "one and only" album.
