Gameplay
Gameplay in Phineas and Ferb is built around the game's seven play levels. Within these are hidden a wide array of gadgets, tools, parts and devices that the brothers must collect to build their beloved roller coasters, rides, tracks and machines, while avoiding their sister Candace who is always looking to tattle on them. Players are able to switch between Phineas and Ferb at will to take advantage of special skills found in each, and the game also features several mini-games which provide fun and additional necessary skills and items.

Disney's DGamer Service
Offered free with Phineas and Ferb, DGamer is Disney's online community that utilizes the Wi-Fi capabilities of your Nintendo DS to allow you to connect with other Disney gamers across North America. Through the DGamer community players can create their own identity via an avatar, chat about games, unlock unique collectibles, collect virtual currency and track leaderboard stats. You also have the ability to "gift" items collected in the game to your friends.

My daughter is a kindergartner and really wanted this game but it is hard for her to manuever around because she is a beginner reader and this games calls for a more advanced reader.

As with many TV shows you expect if a game comes out it will be as much fun as the show. In this case my 7 year old is having a lot of fun with this game. My 10 year old picked it up and played it as well but didn't like it quite as much. At his age he is more likely to play rockband and other games but my 7 year old is enjoying this game. She has had it for 6 weeks or so and hasn't bored of it yet, a big concern as it seems like games go "stale" fast.

8 yr old really likes the game except when Ferb runs really slow. Didn't like having to wait so long to play the game while he was shown what to do. Used his own money to buy the game and said he would still have bought it even knowing what he knows now.

This game is very entertaining for any age. I am 22 and not very good at most video games but I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. It's simple to understand and fun to play.

Phineas and Ferb have to collect scraps and other things to build objects, and Candace tries to bust them. The Candace alerts are really hard. In the Candace alerts you have to run away from Candace and collect all the screws and then you win. The Candace alerts are fun though.

The object of this game is for Phineas and Ferb to go through different scenes in order to find ojects to built their idea of the day all while trying to keep Candice happy. Their is one spot where my son is stuck but that's what make it challanging.

I agree with the review stating that there is a great deal of reading with this game; because it does have some of his favorite cartoon characters in it, my son is sticking with it, and I am helping him, but...even an eight year or so, whom I think is the age target for the game, is going to have to have some help or they might get frustrated. The game itself is pretty repetitive, the boys just collect pieces of junk to build a rollercoaster, and try to stay away from Candace. No matter the reading, my personal opinion is that this game is much, much better quality than Pokemon Silver, Gold, Tutti-Fruiti, the name doesn't matter because the games are all the same. So, good price, honest attempt at a good quality product...worth looking into for true P&F fans! =)

My 9 year old son who is brand new to handheld video games says "It's about building a huge roller coaster. It's pretty fun but in some places it's kind of hard to use the controls. The building parts are really fun." My 6 year old says "It's a little hard for me to play because of finding the stuff in the boxes."
