Purchased this as a surprise for my son's birthday. He was so excited to sit and read...something I had been struggling with the last few months. He LOVES these books and will read for about 20-30 mintues at a time...for a kiddo with special needs and short attention span, that is fantastic.

This is essentially the same review for all of these books. My grand daughter wanted these for her birthday so I bought the entire set. I was able to get 8 for the price of 6 because of the deal they were offering at the time, and with free shipping, this was a superb deal overall. The books are at the reading level that I expected and appear to be of good quality and a story line she loves. She is so into Phineas and Ferb and her birthday party's theme is going to be that, so this is a good purchase for me and for her.

My son's reading has been progressing and we wanted him to jump into chapter books with more words and less pictures. This was the perfect transition book. The words are harder but he knows many of them from watching the show so it was a way for him to tie what he hears to what he reads. It also has pictures in the book to keep his interest but they are small and the focus is on the text. I think this was the perfect intermediate book between kids books and chapter books. I'm very excited that he looks like he even wants to read on his own. So far it seems to be workout out well!

I bought this chapter book for my grandson who is in 2nd grade. He loves Phineas and Ferb, so I thought this book would be a great way to help improve his reading skills. He uses my Kindle Fire and loves the book.

Yes this book and others in the series are simply just rehashes of popular episodes. Disney does this with all their movies too. It's just like when they release one of their moves and then release 50 different books retelling you the story from basic to advance. Ugh. I took a star off for Disney's obvious lack of originality here. On the other hand my daughter, who is 6 and an advanced reader, really loves these stories. They have a couple of them free if you subscribe to Kindle Free Time. I like them because I know she is reading something that is appropriate for her age.

If you have an older child who struggles with reading or really pushes away and they like Phineas and Ferb, Than this book or others in the series might be a great way of encouraging them to read. The book actually has 2 stories in it, which might also benefit kids that struggle with reading.
