If I recall, I read this book because it won a Romance Writers of America prize. It's well written; the characters are good, and it's very entertaining. Plus a sizzle of a romance. It falls into the "Love and Laughter" category, being quite funny, as well. Highly recommend "Phoebe's Deputy."
