Upside Down You're Turning Me
This otherwise well-written and lavishly illustrated book contains a major disappointment for serious students of Phoenician history: A photograph of the famous Nora Stele from Sardinia, one of the oldest Phoenician inscriptions, is printed upside down! This otherwise well-written and lavishly illustrated book contains a major disappointment for serious students of Phoenician history: A photograph of the famous Nora Stele from Sardinia, one of the oldest Phoenician inscriptions, is printed upside down! Not only that, but the inscriptions's allusion to the biblical Tarshish has been cropped from the photo. This important inscription should have been reproduced in its entirety and right side up.
