This is a most welcomed reprint of a "classical" title from the expert hand of late Prof. P. Montet. Anyone concerned with the history, culture, art and religion of ancient Egypt should own a copy of it. Masterly written, well-illustrated, minutely researched; a great title from which you would not miss anything. Although bulky and seemingly dense, this book can be easily and eagerly read from start to end.
