Product Description

The V-12 Injector is designed to inexpensively perform RFI™ (reverse flush), vacuum/pressure bleeding, and master cylinder bench bleeding. The V-12 can develop 125 psi with comfortable hand force. The function of the V-12 is identical to our more expensive Pheonix Injectors™. When the injector handle is depressed fluid is injected out the nozzle. When the handle is released, the injector automatically refills the barrel from a remote fluid source. The handle and body are made of high strength Zytel (glass reinforced nylon) which imparts metal like strength while retaining light weight comfort.

  • Includes: V-12 injector, Smart-Pak (resevoir bottle, hoses, bleeding adapters, brake fluid bottle adapters, tee fittings, plugs), molded carrying case.

I recently purchased the V-12 bleeder in hopes of simplifying the procedure for changing brake fluid in my Harley. Total nightmare! After spending several hours trying to get my brakes bleed with this device I finally gave up and emailed Phoenix Systems for support. No reply. I reviewed all the instructions and watched their video a second time to make sure I was following the correct procedures. I attempted to bleed the brakes a second and third time with still no luck so I emailed them a second time and still no reply. I finally gave up and wrote it off as a bad purchase.

The V-12 is all plastic and hardly worth the reduced price $92 let alone the list price of $170. I may have just received a bad unit but there is no way of telling since Phoenix Systems ignores all of my correspondence. I would suggest that you give serious thought before purchasing this piece of plastic. If you do purchase the V-12 do not expect support from Phoenix Systems.

I was blown away by how easily I was able to bleed my brakes on my 2003 Mazda6. I thought I was going to need new brake pads but was pleasantly surprised to find out that I do not because all I needed to do was bleed my brake lines. I never knew how easy a job it could be until my mechanic told me about the Phoenix System injector. I decided to check it out online and watched a couple of the video tutorials and ordered the V-12 injector here because I wanted a case and something not too expensive.

This tool made bleeding my brakes a breeze but after bleeding my brakes on our car this weekend (having the tool a day or so) my wife backed over the case. I called Phoenix Systems this morning and I have a new case coming. The tool is fine but I really want the case. The person on the phone was helpful and told me he would ship one out today and I should see it on Thursday or so. Thank you for making my life that much easier and for saving me a trip to my mechanic to bleed my brakes. I love this tool already and have only had it less than a week.

Ok I bought this V-12 bleeder tool for my clutch. I tried all the other tools and the infamous two man pedal push and was not getting the job done. I saw this bleeder tool and they were saying to go back to the master cylinder from the slave because air bubbles go up. Well I thought that makes sense so i bought this V-12 tool by Phoenix Systems. The big day comes and I'm ready to be disappointed because everything else has failed. I begin to push the fluid back up the line from the clutch slave and I have a geyser shooting out of my master. WOW it really is pushing the fluid back to the master. So I ease up on the amount of pressure I'm pushing on the handle and I see air bubbles in the master. I continue until no bubbles and put the master back together and I have a CLUTCH. No kidding I have a CLUTCH I can't believe it. What a great tool! This is amazing! Please pass on to this Phoenix Systems company on what a great tool they make. I'm telling all my friends.

I've been looking around for an inexpensive bleeding system, tried a few others, which did not work worth a crap. This one is by far well worth the investment. Spent about 1/2 hour familiarizing myself with the product, and it took me all of 15 minutes to bleed the master cylinder AND calipers on my car. Well worth the investment. thanks

The advertizing says you can simply bleed a braking system in 10 minutes. It takes 10 minutes to set the system up to use.
Once set up, the handle would not release by spring pressure. I had to manually release the handle and this caused aeration of the fluid. I called the company and they told me to take the felt packing from the piston and soak it in brake fluid. I did this and it didn't help. They agreed to send me a new one, but before sending it back, I tried a new o-ring (it is shipped with a spare) then it worked fine.
The users manual says "For difficult systems, use a combination of pressure, vacuum and RFI bleeding. I must have had a "difficult" system because it took all 3 methods to get the air out.
The system works, but just don't expect too much from the RFI.

It worked fine but the old method of step on the brake pedal and let it bleed works fine too. Not sure if i'd buy it again. That being said it was a well made product. Like it better than the old mityvac. Just use it for home garage.

aweful thing always pinches my hand when I try to use it (draws blood). Called the Company, they were just kind of "oh well". There wasn't any available direction to get the other metal injector without buying a whole other kit. Good concept but once purchased, you ARE on your own.......
