The included 2x teleconverter will double the focal length to 1000mm. I guess I got what I paid for. The lens has an adapter ring that has to be mounted to the camera by screwing three tiny screws to the lens. Very inconvenient, and if you don't check them every time you use it they become loose. If you use the teleconverter you have to unscrew the three screws and reattached them to the converter. The tripod that came with the package is light and weak, it can just about hold the lens with out vibration. The bag they sent won't even fit the lens. The cleaning kit "OK". Like I said in the begining I got what I paid for.
