Portrays mothers in a bad way,
By
This review is from: Phonics Comics: The Smart Boys (Phonics Comics (Numbered No Level)) (Paperback)
As is typical of the modern movement, this book portrays mothers in a negative light. The mother is shown in a poor image to such an extent that my sevne year old son noticed it. That's enough for me. WHen my son said, "I didn't like the way it made the mother look," I realized this book is not for any child anywhere.

I teach struggling readers. Even the most reluctant readers cannot get enough of this series. I plan on getting more titles to use in my classroom.
