E Ink Technology
Electronic ink is a proprietary material that is processed into a film for integration into electronic displays, and used in many popular ebooks today. Revolutionary in concept, electronic ink is a fusion of chemistry, physics and electronics to create millions of tiny microcapsules about the diameter of a human hair. Each microcapsule contains positively charged white particles and negatively charged black particles suspended in a clear fluid that migrates with the application of an electric field to produce an ink-on-paper appearance.
To form an E Ink electronic display, the ink is printed onto a sheet of plastic film that is laminated to a layer of circuitry. The circuitry forms a pattern of pixels that can then be controlled by a display driver. These microcapsules are suspended in a liquid "carrier medium" allowing them to be printed using existing screen printing processes onto virtually any surface, including glass, plastic, fabric and even paper. Ultimately electronic ink will permit most any surface to become a display, bringing information out of the confines of traditional devices and into the world around us. I absolutely love this watch. You're bound to get loads of compliments with this guy. Nearly everyday I get at least one person who asks about it or tells me how much they like it. As someone who gets tired of things quickly, this watch was perfect. Being able to change the display is nothing short of awesome. The build quality is great and it's incredibly comfortable to wear. The only downside that I'd say is that it's a little annoying there is no back light. Not the end of the world by any means, but woulda been nice. Highly recommend this to anyone who digs tech or just wants a nice watch that can easily dress up or down depending on what you're wearing with it.

This watch is unique, thats the best way to put it. Whenever somebody has not seen this watch before, once they notice it, they always ask about it. It is different, and that is the point, but its not too different to be unusable, which is what makes it awesome. It is fairly easy to read in low light, but if its dark out then it is not really possible to read, since it does not have a back light (not a big enough of an issue to deduct a star). Which brings me to the one improvement I would love to have for this watch, if it had a back light (or any light for that matter) it would be perfect, but this really should not deter you from considering it. It really is that good, yep 5 stars and I am giving it that without a back light, its really that cool.
