5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, January 8, 2012

This is a very beautiful album. Brazos reaches back into childhood innocence for inspiration in these mature and subtle songs. This album is a thing of beauty.

What a lovely find. This album crafts its own brand of folky rock with lush accouterments and some seriously arresting lyrics about being a human being. The only thing stopping me from giving a 5 is the sagging tracks 4, 5, and 10 (which makes for a sleepy piano instrumental just before the albums two most jaunty tracks). This one comes recommended for sure, though. Just take a listen to tracks 1, 2, 6, and 7 and hopefully you'll agree.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a sound, what a band., March 2, 2010
This review is from: Phosphorescent Blues (Audio CD)
I first heard the Brazos on [...] and i was completely in love with their sound. They have this folky chill sound to them. I honestly recommend this CD to everyone and anyone who enjoys good music. Listen to DAY GLO, i must have played that song 20 times over when i first heard it. Check them out, you wont regret it.
