There isn't much of a way to elaborate except to say the construction seems solid.
Now with this 4-bulb adapter and with daylight-equivalent-100W fluorescent bulbs, I'm happy with the amount light per room.
I'll return this and keep trying, but there's no way this product is worth all the effort of trying to get one that works.

The back of this is flat.
