I purchased this book as a Christmas present for a friend that just made her first trip to Las Vegas. The book is filled with amazing photographs of all the popular sites in Las Vegas. The photography is absolutely beautiful. The book has some large fold-outs pictures of the strip. It makes you feel like you are right back in Vegas. This will truly be a treasured momento of fun times!!!!

This book has a lot of nice shots of Vegas including a fold out panoramic view of the whole strip, however a few of the photos are a tiny bit out of focus. There is also a lot of interesting facts and history about the different hotels and the city. Other than those few pictures out of focus, I think it's a great book.

Vegas has always been a favorite place of mine to vacation, from when I was a little kid till now. The iconic images and bright lights burn in my mind. That's why I find it enjoyable to go through nice photo books of Vegas, the beautiful photos bring me back.
This 160 plus page book is filled with colorful, large photos of this party town. There are 6 chapters in total. The chapters include Downtown, North Strip, Center Strip, South Strip, Off the Strip, Reference. At the start of each chapter and section, there is a 2 or 3 paragraph intro with some useful info about the place. The pictures were taken between 2001 and 2005. With Vegas evolving so quickly, what that means is that some of these photos can be considered somewhat nostalgic. For example, the Stardust is no longer there. And some of the newest casinos are not in the photos yet, like Encore. In any event, it's a great book to display the splendor of Vegas.
