I love my PsP and this product is the best purchase that you can do if you love yours too!

I run on my PsP a few PSx games so MEMORY is my main problem and this adapter works like a charm! You can fit 2 small MicrosSD-HC and get up to 32GB easy, I have 2 8GB & after format the card on the PsP read a total of 15GB for less of what will cost a MemoryStick (Sony MSproDuo 16GB $97.67 the cheaper here on amazon)... the card looks fragile, but I'm not surprised because is hollow in order to fit the MicroSD cards, I will recomend to keep the adapter all the time on the PsP so there is not risk to damage it plus the adapter behave as a HC card so many readers will not work, what is one more reason to keep it on the PsP.

I've used one of these adapters in my PSP for almost a year and it has worked flawlessly. I just upgraded the memory in my phone so I bought another adapter so I could use the phone's old micro SD in my PSP too (the adapter will work with just one micro SD, just put it in slot 1)

The PSP complained when I tried to format the card. It would either report a format error or report that there was no card inserted, even though the PSP seemed to read the card just fine.

I just upgraded the PSP to the latest firmware, and I hope this isn't Sony taking steps to shut out this product (after all, it's the only way to get 32GB on a PSP, unless you buy the PSP Go, but even then you top out at 32GB).

At any rate, the memstick.ind and mstk_pro.ind files were on the card so it looks like the format was started at least. I re-created the default PSP folder structure (MP_ROOT, MUSIC, PICTURE, PSP, and VIDEO), copied over my files and the card is working fine.

My guess is that the PSP didn't see a genuine Sony Memory Stick, so it was throwing a tantrum. In the end, it works and that's what matters.

I bought this adapter warily, as I had gotten a microSD to ProDuo adapter before, the kind that only holds one microSD...and it broke the first time I put a microSD card in it. So, when I saw this, I was nervous, but the chance I took turned out to be so worth it! The memory cards slide in easily and there are no weird bumps on the outside when the cards are inserted to indicate poor construction. As a note, this card can ONLY be used when inside my PSP, I have to put it into USB mode, it does NOT read in my ProDuo memory card slot in my computer. For me it isn't a big deal, it's only a miniscule inconvenience. This is definitely a 5-star product for me, I'm probably going to get a second one for my boyfriend.

I have owned 1 of these adapters for about 2 years, using the same 2 8G MicroSDHC cards (SanDisk). I have in the time I have been using this setup never had a single problem with it at all. I also use it almost exclusively because with it's capacity nearing 16G I can have Comics, Photos, Music, Videos, Game saves and Downloaded Games from PSN. I'm going to order another one with x2 16G cards so I can have a 32G option on my PSP's! Bottom line these are Great IMO, and I'm sure others have had problems but that goes to say about anything. When the card broke all my data was also lost, with these card adapters if anything similar were to happen you would still be able to access your data on the MicroSDHC card. There are some issues as another person said about "hotplugging/swaping" the cards in the adapter. The instructions tell you all about it, I just kept the same 2 cards in all the time. Try this out I don't think you will be sory!

I purchased this and 2 micro SD cards to put in my Sony PSP. I was excited when I received this, but when I went to install it, it only read 1 of the two SD cards. I did a little troubleshooting (many years in electronics work) and found both of the SD cards worked just fine. Tried again, still only read 1 of the 2 cards in this adapter. Was about to give if the 1 star rating but instead I sent the company an e-mail through Amazon. They responded same day and let me know that they shipped a new Adapter out. Received the new adapter 2 days later. Put both micro cards in it, popped it into the PSP and wallah, I now have 16GB of memory on my PSP.

This way came out much cheaper then buying one of Sony's overpriced Pro Duo 16 GB cards. Also gives you more flexability. I noticed I was only using about 7 GB on my PSP so I just swapped one of the 8GB micro cards out with the 2GB micro card I had in my phone. Now I have plenty of space in my phone and PSP and didn't have to spend any more money to do so.

I highly recommend this product, and if you have any problems with the adapter, simply contact the company or Amazon and they should help you without any grief.

Works great on the PSP once you format the memory stick with both sd cards in the micro sd adapter. I bought a 16GB sd card and I had a 8GB. I have so much space for downloaded games :)

Product is great and comes in handy to give extra storage although handle with care. Extreme pressure on this card will break it.

It holds 1 or 2 micro SD cards and fits into the MS Pro Duo slot on a memory card reader or device. I bought this since my point & shoot camera runs on Micro SD and my HD video camera uses MS Pro Duo. Now I can use the extra space on the Micro SD card in the HD video camera while on vacation.

The unit itself works great! I plugged in two 16GB cards, and the PSP saw it as one 32GB storage card. The format seems to change the memory card itself to some extent, so if you ever need to remove the memory card and use it in something else, you may need to use a memory card format utility to fix how much space the memory card is reporting.

When freshly formatted, access time is quite quick, but when you have a lot of files copied to the memory card, access time increases. My PSP can take up to 12 seconds to list videos, whereas a normal memory stick would only take just a few. This doesn't affect video or music playback at all, however games that require a lot of loading may suffer in speed.

The plastic does feel flimsy. It did not break at all while installing the memory cards, I was even able to take them out and reinstall them again without breaking the plastic, so if you are careful, you shouldn't have a problem.

Pros: Great price, makes for an excellent way to get use out of spare memory cards.

Cons: Slower access speed when a lot of files are copied to it. It will change the memory card, so additional programs will need to be used to repair them if you no longer want to use them in this device.
