This backdrop kit is quite sturdy and easy to set up by myself on location. It comes with a carrying case that is especially convenient. I would recommend this setup to anyone looking for an inexpensive kit.

I'm a cinematographer and I often work on documentary projects. I recently purchased this kit so I could set up a black backdrop on location shoots. I travel with a lot of equipment so size is a huge factor for me. This setup packs smaller, yet extends higher and wider than the more expensive kits I looked at. It is sturdy enough so that I can mount a small back light to the horizontal pole in addition to a muslin backdrop. For studio use it might be a bit flimsy, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for portability. It comes with a decent case as well, another plus. So far it's holding up well.

It is not the lightest or cheapest backdrop stand.

The quality is great easy to work with, stable and robust.

It is not really light and the only complaint I would have is that the bag has only a handle and not a shoulder strap (I will probably add that my-self)
