A good book to start your field and in hand bird identification specialty book shelf. The pictures of birds flying over head are much improved over the paperback Peterson series book "Hawks" by Clark and Wheeler.

Bought this as present for 11 & 12 yr. old grandsons. They do alot of camping, have hiked Hawk Mountain and generally love the outdoors. It's very descriptive with beautiful pictures. I read through the whole book before I wrapped it. :)

The guide was exactly as posted. It was exactly what I needed to identify the juvenile bald eagles we had this winter. Thank you for your prompt shipping.
