Review
[H]as its own unique flavor. . . . [Vogt's] sequencing, as well as the resonances between pictures and texts, suggests the influence of the nouveau roman, a slow accumulation and peeling off of layers of meaning. -- Artnews, 2/99

This review is from: Photographic Notes: Everything is Important, Nothing is Important (Hardcover)
Christian Vogt presents B+W images along with cryptic titles(such as "Everything is important-Nothing is important"!). The photos are technically very good. Each image, though small, is presented by itself on a large white page. I rather liked this presentation. I recommend this offbeat, but beautifully produced, book to lovers of B+W photography.
