If you like Fashion Shots by Alex larg and Jane Wood you would enjoy this book. its a combination of Fashion shots and Photographing people (updated) One thing you may not like about this book is that they are several images that are the same in the previous book... So if you have Fashion Shots, Or Photographing People(old version) do not get this book. But if you did not purchase one out of the two... then its worth your money. Excellent diagrams and a good source of tool for photographers

Lacks full lighting information,

Not a bad book. It gives you inspiration on what sort of photos you can shoot.Most of the pro-photo shooters will use a light meter to control the light source, however the light meter information is not provided. This is the biggest omission in the book since you cannot correlate lighting information to a particular effects you looking for. It will be nice to add something like group A, 1/250, F9.5 @ ISO100, group B, 1/250 F8 @ ISO100 and camera 1/250 F11 ISO100. I guess the most important thing is the lighting diagram and the pictorial themselves. However, the book is mainly on confined studio shots and lacks outdoor shots as well.

Very best instructive book, geared towards the more advanced photographers, nonetheless very useful in defining possibilities of lighting setup. I recommend it for intermediate and advanced professional.
