This consists of a wide selection of backgrounds, differing in color, light, and texture. That first impression is that provides a lot of flexibility in background selection. What it really means it you have a good choice of finding the background which fits the image you are making.

Not all backgrounds work with all foregrounds. In fact, the foreground pretty much dictates what the background should be. Colors need to compliment each other, the light needs to appear to be from the same directions, and the texture should be appropriate.

This set provides 200 (I assume, never having counted them all) beautiful choices from which to choose. If you understand how to make the back and fore grounds work together then you are sure to wind up with an excellent result.

One tip... If you can use a background with a green tint it will tend to hide (or at least justify) any small amounts of spill (green reflection from the actual chromakey backdrop).

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was lacking or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it.

First of all, I think that the price is a little high for basically a burned disk with a cd sticker label over the disk and a basic blank cd sleeve. I would have preferred for the price I paid to get a better quality case. For 35 bucks, 5 probably goes to shipping, and then less than a dollar for each disk and case...

Yes there are 200 files. But some of them are identical except for some Photoshop color changes. Something I could have done myself. The window reflection set looks awesome in smaller views. It sort of looks like a muslin cloth draped over a window but larger versions its not as great. The tile and cloth files look photoshopped and not real.

There are a lot of great files to choose from. I am glad I got this item cheaper through their ebay store because for me it was only worth what I paid, not the 35 bucks. I imagine I will only be able to sell about half of these backgrounds. But those half I know will sell, they are very good.

Remember, you can't just plop one image on another and hope they look good, you are going to need to work with brightness and match the two. With just a little work, the good backdrops will look amazing for portraits, especially senior portraits.

But the seller does ship items very quickly, and after reading one of the other reviews, I checked, and no fingerprints on my disk. The disk loads just fine, and no problems with the files. I would suggest looking over some of their other disks, and go for ones with perhaps more outdoor locations so you know you are getting more of a variety and not the same file just color changed.

I thought these backdrops were pretty cool, but too many of the same on one CD. Could have been a bit more unique and more colorful. Too many were dark and a bit morbid. I thought the price could have been cut in half with only half of the number of backdrops. I used these with Photoshop Elements 7 and it works well. Just be sure to change your size of photo to match the backdrop..i.e., 8 inches by 10 inches and 300 pixels. This works well and with changing both photo AND digital backdrop to the same size ....it works out! This is probably not intended for professionals although I would guess they could use them.

I have not purchased this... but since no discussions are allowed on this product, I decided to express my opinion in the form of a review.
First of all, you are limited to images 8 x 10 in size at 300 dpi. Since I print only a few 8 x 10 portraits... usually 11 x 14 and bigger, this will not work properly with any images 11 x 14 or larger... not high enough resolution. Sure you can go bigger at perhaps 200 dpi, which is inadequate for professional grade portraiture. Just my opinion. Useless for my purposes.

They are good quality, look nice printed, however a lot of them are sort of the same, just off by a "degree" of color... I went ahead and ordered the 1500 professional digital backdrops later as I found that this disc didn't have a big enough variety to meet my needs.

Shipping was very fast on this item, and the backgrounds are just what I was looking for. These digital backdrops give the look of real muslin in your portraits. I will get a lot of use out of these. Thank you for a great product!

Several of these backgrounds are not exactly crispy clear. Alot were blury and fuzzy...(bootleg). This software price should've been $9.99. But there were a few nice ones. It would be a great starters program, just for playing around.

This is a great product. You get the ease of a Muslin
backgroung without the bulk of 20 foot Muslin backgrounds.

I do like that there is a variety to choose from. I appreciate that there are several different versions of the same backdrop to take into account the subject. My customers have been thrilled with the end product, also!
