TOO BAD YOU CAN'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER, August 7, 2009
This review is from: Photography, Books a la Carte Plus MyPhotographyKit (9th Edition) (Loose Leaf)
The content of this material is very good. I have no problem with that. The problem is that Amazon was not very clear at describing it. It's soft cover and it is all loose leaf pages. I contacted Amazon's customer service and asked what "a la Carte" meant. They couldn't tell me. Then I got an email saying that it was a regular hard cover book, which it isn't. Having a loose leaf edition of this might not be bad. The problem is that it's hard to find a notebook cover to fit the pages. And the whole thing turns out WAY too bulky. The pages are W-I-D-E and because of this, the pages stick out the side of a regular notebook. The whole thing is not very practical. I would say buy the book instead. And I would say to Amazon that you need to train your folks so that they know what you're selling your customers. Note: When I purchased this, it was not clear that it was loose leaf. I see that it now states this. Still... just buy the book. This thing is a headache.
