I had the chance to sit with 15 of the best of these great photographers and hold their best photographs in front of them and hear their most personal, analytical and profound reactions. The result are extremely valuable for photographers, but also deeply emotional for viewers who want to relive some of the greatest moments of the 20th century and some of the silliest as well.

David Hoffman is one of America’s premier documentary filmmakers. For more than 35 years, he roamed the world finding and recording unusual and provocative stories. His 125 reality films have appeared on primetime Public Television, Turner Broadcasting, The Discovery Channel, and Arts & Entertainment. He produced specials for NOVA, The American Experience, and National Geographic. His films have won every major national and international documentary award. Hoffman is known for finding ordinary people with extraordinary stories to tell. He is a consummate storyteller who uses the re-enactment, original music, and never before seen vintage footage, to enhance the drama of his stories. Very interesting, poignant, and often fun. Hearing Life Magazine photographers, who have taken some of the most influential photographs of our time, tell their stories about the photographs and about themselves is fascinating. Sometimes you can see their deep emotional connection to the pictures, other times you laugh at their anecdotes. Overall, worth watching for anyone.
