This, to me, is a successful book on photojournalism without many photos. It is a read - less of a visual journey. There are only 10-15 images, but this is welcome in that it does not present itself as a book on images, but on the backstory behind creating images.
A very great addition to a thoughtful reading photographer. I don't mean this in any derogatory way - but if you want to see images and master how to shoot, this is perhaps not the best choice for you. If you want to think, and think through the eye of a photojournalist, that needs to hop the flight and catch the event happening now - yup, this is the book.
