Photomosaics: Grey Wolf by Robert Silvers 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I bought this as a gift for my friend; the fact that she loves wolves and puzzles only made this gift even better. The reason why I didn't give it an outstanding rating is because she told me it took her 2 hours just to find 20 pieces that fits together. I guess for a puzzle like this it would be extremely difficult. She hasn't finished yet so I can't say whether the outcome is really worth it or not.

I put together this puzzle by myself in about a week. It was rewarding to see the completed thing, but I was a little disappointed in the photomosaic itself. The tiny pictures making up the photo did not define the shape of the wolf very well. Looking at it close up, it's like a blur. Maybe this was due to the fact that I was able to compare it to the Mickey Mouse Photomosaic I finished, which had excellent definition.

Its really a good puzzle and comes out nice when u finish but it takes to much time and effort to get the pieces in the right spot. The pieces are also small and easy to lose, But once your done with the puzzle the picture it gives is well worth the time.
